Maintenance Planner at Metsä Tissue in Mariestad
Do you want to work in a technical environment where structure, coordination, and problem-solving are at the center? We are now looking for a Maintenance Planner who wants to contribute to high operational reliability and effective maintenance work.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be a key person in ensuring that the right maintenance actions are planned, prepared, and executed on time. You will work closely with production and maintenance personnel as well as external suppliers to ensure that the right resources are in place at the right time and to create order, foresight, and quality in the maintenance process.
The role is central to optimizing the factory's availability and contributing to a long-term maintenance strategy. The position suits you if you thrive in a coordinating role where both technical understanding and good communication are crucial.
The position is a permanent employment and you will report to the Maintenance Manager, Mariestad.
Your main responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize maintenance activities in close collaboration with production and other stakeholders
- Ensure that work orders are complete, clear, and correctly documented
- Compile weekly plans and plans for scheduled stops
- Coordinate resources, materials, and contractors for planned stops
- Follow up on completed work and contribute to continuous improvements
- Actively work with preventive maintenance and development of maintenance plans
- Participate in analysis of root causes and improvement work related to operational reliability
- Ensure that the maintenance system is kept up to date and that data/information is correct
Who are you?
You are structured, communicative, and thrive in a role where you can create order and drive processes forward. You find it easy to collaborate and see the value in building good relationships with both internal and external parties.
We believe you have:
- Experience in maintenance planning or a similar technical coordinating role
- Good technical understanding, preferably within mechanics, electrical/automation, or process industry
- Experience working in maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, or similar)
- Ability to work in a structured manner and manage multiple parallel tasks
- Good experience working with various IT systems and digital tools
- You will communicate internally and externally in an international environment, which requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
